Picture perfect5
I purchased this Panasonic Viera 37″ LCD with Ipod Docking station 2 weeks ago. Beautiful clear picture, awesome sound and I love the fact that you can connect your Ipod or Iphone to it and play your music directly from your television.I also love the SD card slot, makes looking at your pictures so much nicer than on the computer, which you can also hook up. I thought the price was fantastic on Amazon, I priced it at several other online stores and department stores, and you can’t beat the Prime shipping, got it quick and the delivery guy brought it in took it out of the box and made sure everything was perfect. The only complaint I have is with the manual the directions for the Viera link are somewhat elusive, I’m still trying to figure that one out, especially if you are using a remote control from your digital cable company as opposed to the remote that came with the television. I have purchased Panasonic products in the past, and have always found them to be well made and long lasting. I would definitely recommend this TV for someone who is looking for a second set for the family room/den which is where ours is.

This Is A Must Have5
When I needed a tv, I was leaning towards a Panasonic, but thought I’d check out the other manufacturers. On a cold and wet Sunday, my husband and I traveled to 3 different stores, the end result of which was coming home with nothing. I went on Amazon.com and found exactly what I was looking for! This Panasonic has everything you’d want in a tv. From the cabinet, to the screen, to the picture you couldn’t ask for more. It is extremely easy to set up. For HD tv you simply need to connect an HDMI cable. The screen is a 37″, but it actually looks bigger than most 37″. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. No need to go to stores ever again!

Great lower-end hdtv5
I’ve had this t.v. for a week now and I love it. I bought this Panny to replace a Sharp Aquos 1080p LCD that I returned. The LCD was terrible, any fast movement across the screen would cause mass pixilation. Also, blue-ray movies with heavy contrasting scenes looked grainy. I was so disgusted with the picture I returned it. Anyway this Panasonic Plasma is sooo much better it’s like night and day. Even though this t.v. is only 720p, it looks much clearer and sharper than the LCD. No pixilation whatsoever. No graininess. Dark blacks and bright whites. The only con for this t.v., which I think goes for most plasma t.v.’s is that the screen is so glossy that it’s hard to watch in bright rooms. I think that is the one and only advantage the LCD Aquos had over this t.v. Hope this was helpful and oh p.s. when you’re comparing hdtv’s in a store make sure whatever you’re watching on there isn’t a cartoon because cartoons make any hdtv look good. I learned that the hard way.

Great set!5
Picked the Panasonic TC-P42C1 42″ plasma TV set a few days ago at Target so I haven’t had it very long. So far I am VERY pleased. I have always had great luck with Panasonic TVs in the past, so I was pretty confident with my selection.

The Target guys helped me get it loaded and I was able to move it by myself from my van to the house with a small dolly. Setup couldn’t have been easier. I decided to go with plasma since my living room has very low light most of the day and everything I have read said that plasma was better than LCD under those conditions.

The picture is stunning! There are several different picture settings, including the ability for custom setups. Sound is better than average for TV speakers, but I will be getting a home theater setup soon for full enjoyment.

I love this TV!!!

Excellent All Around…5
I have had this tv for more than 6 months now and am extremely pleased. The color is very sharp and very well detailed. No problem with refresh rates at all, and you won’t be able to tell this is not a 1080 tv.

One issue I do have is the sound. The speaker is fine with broadcast tv or with cable; however, when playing a blu-ray disk or PS3 game the sound needs to be cranked up. I don’t know if it is the nature of the tv itself or if the hardware is defective. I should note I returned this tv once after purchasing because the speaker gave off a hissing noise. Replacement model had no such problem…it just seems strange that my only issue has been the speakers (which have caused me problems in the past). Perhaps it is just my own experience and not reflective of this model as a whole…but I thought it worth mentioning.

Regardless…this tv is a great value.

Great TV/DVD combo4
We bought this TV for an exercise room and love it. The picture is great and having the DVD player built in is very convenient. We hung it on the wall so we could watch it while using our exercise bike.

The sound quality isn’t awesome but it’s certainly adequate. Since the TV also plays CDs and MP3′s, a bit more bass would have been nice, but no big deal.

Ordering from Amazon was far easier, less expensive, and very convenient since they delivered it right to our front door.

I did a bunch of research, and in this size category it came down to either the LG, or the Sharp as the best choices for TV’s currently in production with these specifications (including the built in DVD player). Looking at multiple sites for reviews the Sharp just had better overall reviews, plus the LG has a dark red bar across the bottom of the TV which I personnally thought looked a little tacky. I attached the TV to an articulated wall mount, and it fits nicely on the VESA 200X200 adapter plate that came with the wall mount. The articulated wall mount allows me to move the TV around for use in the whole room. One of the features that this TV has that I decided to use is a computer input so that the TV can also be used as a moniter. It works great in this capacity. The only thing on this TV that I would improve is that when you change the channel there is aproximately a 2 second delay before the channel comes up. In my opinion with this being the worst thing I can say about the TV, this is a great product, I would definately purchase this set again.

Great TV/DVD combo with one exception: Remote is very hard to read for some Seniors. Bought this for my mom & dad, only to find out that remote is too small for my father to be able to distinguish the various buttons/numbers with ease.

I bought a universal remote with larger buttons/numbers and this solved the problem.

Good tv for the money4
Great TV for the bedroom or office (i have it in corner of my office). Good 6ms refresh time is pretty fast. There are faster tv’s out there but not in this price range. Given that it is a 32 inch tv, picture seems very good even though it is only 720p. I don’t think you would build a home theater around this TV but is great TV for smaller spaces.

Great price for a flat panel4
This is my first LCD Flat Panel TV. I upgraded from a 24″ CRT Flat Screen by Toshiba.

Pros:

1. Great Picture (It’s only 720p but the picture comes through great and is a big improvement over a regular TV)
2. Smart Stretch setting: this allows one to watch regular TV in widescreen and nothing looks distorted.
3. Inexpensive: I can’t afford an expensive flat panel HDTV so this was a great choice for me

Cons:

1. This set has awful sound. I hooked up a Bose CineMate system to it and that fixed this problem. No matter what you hook up to it, you will need to attach some speakers to make watching this TV bearable.
2. No option to turn off the internal speaker. This was an issue when setting up my external speakers. Turning the volume all the way down was a good workaround, though.

I’ve only had the set for about a day, so, there may be more pros & cons but, overall, this set is a huge improvement over my CRT set and did not make me go broke!
